The Berkley Finisher has quickly become one of my favorite lures to through at my home lake. It's size to weight ratio is perfect to match the smaller size baitfish that are primary forage in late fall and winter dramatically increasing my bite frequency. It is perfect for getting way down to the deep ledges with a jerk/twitch bait profile and action that seems to be irresistible to hungry bass. Oh, and this thing has sticky sticky hooks. Short strikes are not a problem with this bait, I have caught numerous fish with the hooks just on the outside of the mouth and even broad side making me think they were making an exploratory pass before committing to it. The only drawback is that with its heavy weight and sticky hooks this is not the best bait around timber or other thick cover. But boy is it hard to resist not throwing it knowing how well it draws strikes. The size 5 has drawn bites from bass to crappie and even bluegill and catfish, unreal. The Berkley Finisher is a fish magnet and should be welcome in every anglers adrenal.

We have been using this lure jigging in 70 ft. deep in Lake Erie. We have been limiting out most days. When thing get slow we troll with it and it's hard to keep rods in the water. We have caught four salmon with this lure this season and we have only been using this lure for a month. It's easy to fish and does a good job for first time charter customer fishing them.

I have been using the Finisher to fish deep current below damns on larger western rivers. It is the perfect blend of sink rate, and darting action. It is so easy to make this lure look like a dying minnow struggling and darting around. The red chrome perch has been especially effective in the murky spring water for big browns! The quality is average, and the paint chips pretty fast otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating. I don't really think color makes that much difference though. The action seals the deal in my opinion.
