Orders are shipped daily from Monday - Friday. You can expect your order to ship on the same or next day that you place it. Any orders placed after 2pm PST Friday and over the weekend will ship the following Monday. All orders placed after 2pm PST will ship the following business day. We use all major carriers for shipping our orders. Nationally recognized holidays are not counted by carriers as a day in transit.
Expedited Shipping - Carriers base their timing on business days, so plan accordingly if you're attempting to get an order to your home before the weekend or a tournament. The first weekday after your order ships is day one and so on. Orders placed on the weekend will be shipped the first business day after the weekend. We will not refund expedited shipping costs unless the requirements (3 days or less) are not met. Nationally recognized holidays are not counted by carriers as a day in transit.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (Canada Only):
We're happy to say that Canadian orders are once again being accepted by Discount Tackle™!
Do to import duties and taxes, these orders are limited to less than $400. Orders over $400 or a shipping weight of over 4 pounds will be split and shipped as 2 orders. Additionally, orders shipping to Canada cannot include any rods, oversized items or items deemed hazardous by UPS, USPS and Canada Post. If you attempt to place an order containing any of the items listed above, your order will be rejected. If you experience a rejected order, please remove the unqualified items and continue with the checkout process. If you run into any issues placing your order, please reach out to customer service for assistance so that we can help get your order in the system and get you on the water!

Tracking your order shipped to Canada: All orders shipping to Canada will ship via UPS from our location and travel with UPS across the border.
Once in Canada, your package will be handed off to Canada Post and will be assigned a Canada Post Tracking number, which can be used to track the package the rest of the way to you.
You can find your Canada Post tracking number by taking the following steps:
- Utilizing the UPS tracking number emailed to you in your Shipping Confirmation, go to UPS.com and track your shipment.
- Once the details populate, choose “View Details” and you will see the following:
- The "LX" number is your Canada Post Tracking Number.
- After your order has been accepted by customs, you will be able to track the package at, https://origin-www.canadapost.ca/track utilizing the “LX” tracking number found by following the steps above.
Return Policy and Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with any item in your order, simply return it to us within 60 days of the delivery date and we will credit you for the entire amount of the item, assuming it meets the criteria below.
The following exceptions to this policy apply and do not qualify for a refund: (a) Items that have been used and cannot be resold as new; (b) items that are special ordered cannot be returned; (c) laundered clothing/gloves/hats/buffs etc. cannot be returned or exchanged; (d) electronic devices, once opened, cannot be returned and if defective or damaged must be returned by the customer directly to the manufacturer for warranty repair or replacement; (e) all hanging tags must be affixed to the rod/garment/etc. as they were received.
The customer is responsible for any return shipping fees and/or package insurance.
You are not required to obtain a return authorization number, but you must include your order number with the product(s) being sent back for return/refund. We strongly recommend insuring the package being returned as well as obtaining a tracking number. We will not be held responsible for returned packages that are lost or items damaged in transit by carriers.
Products that are sold with owners manuals, operating/assembly instructions, stickers, documents or accessories of any kind must be returned with all of the accompanying items. Returns sent without these items may be rejected and returned to the customer at their cost.
We strongly recommend using the same packaging your item(s) were sent to you in, to be used for return.
Please confirm you’re sending items back to the correct seller. We are not responsible for items sent to us that were not originally purchased from Discount Tackle™.
*All rods must be returned in their original packaging or similar shipping tube to protect the integrity of the rod. If your shipping tube was damaged in transit, please notify a customer service representative.
**Will Call orders left for more than 7 days are subject to be refunded and put back in stock.

Damaged or Lost Items
Unless it is a fishing rod, if you receive a package that is visibly damaged, please accept the package and immediately check the condition and inclusion of all products. If an item (not packaging) is damaged so that it cannot be used as intended, please take photos and send them to us immediately. If a carrier tries to deliver a rod that is obviously broken please deny the rod and request that they have the package Returned to Sender. If a rod tube is slightly damaged, please accept the package and open it immediately to determine the condition. If a rod is found to be broken, we will require photos be emailed to our CS department and action will be taken to rectify the situation. Please contact our Customer Service Department by email at info@discounttackle.com or by telephone at 1-800-940-5490 within 72 hours of receiving the items.
Please confirm your address before submitting your order. If you provide the wrong address for your order to be shipped to, we will not be held responsible for refunding any portion of the order.
Manufacturer's Warranties and Defective Products
Some products offered on our site are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. As a reseller of new products we have no effect, access or decision making influence on how products are made, packaged or handled before we receive them. In the event that you receive a product that is defective directly from the manufacturer, you’ll need to work directly with that manufacturer for a replacement. All claims made under a manufacturer's warranty must be made directly to the manufacturer.
ORDER ADJUSTMENTS
Once an order is placed, we cannot add items to the order. Please note that all orders will be shipped as placed. Sending an email asking us to add an item to your order is not feasible due to the fact that we have no control over your financial commitments.
Incorrect Shipping Address: PLEASE ensure the proper shipping address is used before placing your order. If you provide the wrong shipping address when placing your order, you are responsible for re-routing the package appropriately. Discount Tackle™ is not responsible financially or physically for packages sent to the provided address, even if it's not your intended destination.
EXCHANGES
Due to inventory fluctuations, we will unfortunately not be able to exchange item(s). If the item(s) that you are looking for is in stock, you can simply order the item(s) you want and return the item(s) you don't, for a full refund.
DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
We all know that accidents happen sometimes. If your product(s) arrive defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible. We will send you a replacement part and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective item. Product(s) must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier accept the package, contact us, and we will dictate the following course of action.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Our goal is to get your order processed and shipped as soon as possible. If you would like to cancel, please call us asap and we will do our best to cancel the order before it ships. Attempting to cancel an order via email may result in the order shipping before the email is reviewed. If an order is shipped that you would like to cancel, simply return the order for a full refund.
REFUNDS & CREDITS
After we accept your return, you will be issued a refund via the same payment method as you had originally used to place the order (Credit Card, PayPal). The refund amount will be composed of the original purchase price minus shipping charges. You will be sent an email confirming receipt of the return and your credit. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for the credit to appear on your account.
