Seaguar's AbrazX castable fluorocarbon mainline is specially designed to be ultra-abrasion resistant, testing TWICE as resistant when compared to leading competitor fluorocarbon lines.

Designed for heavy cover yet suitable for all conditions. AbrazX can be used in both spinning reels and baitcasting Reels. The line has exceptional knot and impact strength and is extremely soft and sensitive for a better feel and smoother casting. As with all 100% Fluorocarbon products, AbrazX is much less visible underwater than monofilament line and virtually invisible to fish. The line is also UV resistant, chemical resistant, non-absorbent, high-density, and impervious to cold conditions.

Made from 100% Seaguar resins and produced using our proprietary extrusion process, AbrazX is the best-in-class product for abrasion resistance. Available in 200 yard and 1000 yard spools.

Seaguar line

Not a thing wrong with the Seaguar line. Just one item I never have to think about not doing it's job. If I get a nick in the line ( however small ) = retie or cry !!
Not fair to blame breakage on the line.

Great line

I have used all the popular name brand lines through the years. Basically been a Seaguar and Sunline guy for the most part. The Abrazx is as good as it gets. Casts great and of course abrasion resistant. I can use 17lb. For a variety of applications where many have to go 20lb. But 17lb cast so much better. Great line!

Frequent breakage

Anyone else having issues with this line breaking. I’ve lost three Chatterbaits on my last two outings when the line has broken either during the cast or in one instance upon a retrieve. It isn’t the knot and yes I’ve spooled the line correctly. It just seems to be brittle. Curious as to what everyone else’s experience has been.

Great product

Don't forget to get your line conditioner as it makes all the difference in memory, cast, backlashes.

Horrible

To be completely honest with every fisherman that reads this, this line is horrendous. I tie great knots, and have been for years. The “snap” resistance as I call it, is horrible on this line. It breaks so easily, just like it is brittle. The line I would go with 100% of the time is InvizX. It is probably the best line I have ever used. There is something about the AbrazX that is just horrible.. it breaks so easily on certain situations where you wouldn’t expect it to. Discount tackle handled it super great though. The guy sent me another spool of InvizX, and I sent him back the AbrazX. He was very nice about it and was super helpful. Long story short, if you don’t want to break of on fish, stumps, or anything else, do not get AbrazX.
