Used these jigs off Hatteras NC on the offshore rock piles and wrecks. Blackfin tuna, amberjack, and false albacore all nailed these jigs during the late Winter/early Spring. Weights in the 150 to 250 gram range seem to work best, depending on current. We use 65 or 80 lb. test braided main line with fluorocarbon leaders. Keep your drag tight and get the fish up before the sharks get to them. I want to try these under weed lines to catch the wahoo that hang out under the mahi mahi bailers when the weather warms up.

caught blackfin tuna on first drop. bumping the string on the drop causes frantic moves the tuna cant turn down. Always have good luck with these jigs..
