Great lure that performs excellent. Check out the comparison videos online of the Rapala RipStop to other jerk baits, this one has them beat! I've caught plenty of LMB with this one along riprap, amazing action. Only thing I'd change is that I wish it went deeper, this model says deep but 4'-8' isn't deep to me. Color options are great, I went with the tried and true silver which hasn't failed me yet. At the price Discount Tackle has them for you can't go wrong.

Beauty is the Beast

It was a bright morning on Lake Eufaula, Alabama (Walter F. George), Ga.
The morning spent looking for post-spawn largemouth bass. My partner and I checked each point leading out of the creek on the Georgia side of Eufaula. No luck finding any fish as we slowly made the trip back toward the deeper river following a creek channel. Watching Hummingbird 12, I passed a point with fish showing close to a brush pile. I was not sure and was a bit afraid the new Rapala RipStop wouldn't work on this suspended bass close to the eighteen feet of deepwater best guess 5 to 6-foot depth. The exact area where the fish were holding was a bright morning on Lake Eufaula, Alabama (Walter F. George) Ga.

I was marking the exact area where the fish were holding. I tossed the Rapala RipStop 45 yards back into the shallow point, working along the side. Stopped, jerk, jerk pause, jerk, jerk, pause the rod bent over the ripstop hit a stump, but quickly pulling the rod away, the extremely sharp hooks sank into something big. It was a beast of a largemouth gill flaring open as the female rose to the surface, rocking her head, me pushing the rod tip down as she moved like she didn't know it was not a real shad.
The action repeated four more times, with each bass looked like a twin. I had taken a picture before releasing the first bass. I never stopped to snap more photos. It was just to much fun!. I
