The River2Sea Whopper Plopper 110 is a 4 1/3 inch, 1 ounce model of Larry Dahlberg's world-renowned topwater prop lure design. Its tail is made of super-tough plastic that flexes right back into place whether it gets chomped on or gets cast into a bridge piling. And since they are molded from high-quality plastic, every single one comes out of the box with the perfect tail size and angle to make a sound that simply drives fish crazy.

The River2Sea Whopper Plopper 110 is "roll-resistant" and works well at a variety of speeds. Sound trials have also suggested that even at constant retrieval speeds the tail emits sounds that vary as much as an octave in pitch as opposed to the more monotone metal tails.  The Whopper Plopper 110 does not have an internal rattle

Top water 110f color “ I know it”

Very popular lure in northeast Alabama. I say this because I pick these bad boys out of trees where it’s public on one bank but the other is not. I kayak over and collect. Anyways this 110f is hand’s down most popular here with clear fresh water. Most exciting lure to use because the fish attack the lure, not a nipple , but hit hard and fast.

Whopper plopper

I started throwing the whopper Plopper May 2022. I live in Lake Havasu City Arizona I threw the 110 size from May all the way till October my favorite patterns and what worked best for me where the one 10 size I know it “ color. The T 1000 and the phantom gray color . my biggest largemouth was 6 1/2 pounds my biggest smallmouth was 4 1/2 pounds my biggest striper was 8 pounds all on the whopper plopper I would fish for two hours every morning, and I would get up to six fish all above 2 pounds on these baits are use a 7’6 heavy action. Dobyns champion rod with a Shimano Corrado, DC with 20 pound floral carbon. It works wonders. I haven’t thrown any other topwater besides the whopper popper since that time they don’t just tap it. They hit it with a vengeance also the Chris Lane series top notch 130 !!!! outstanding date. I have not caught a fish under 2 pounds on the 110 size or the 130 size folks your Best Buy this bait ! And greetings from Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Great topwater lure with proven success

I have purchased several of these topwater lures after seeing the success others are having with them in YouTube videos. I have the bluegill, monkey butt and perch. Am waiting for the weather to cool down a bit before fishing in the kayak at two reservoirs here in Colorado at Lathrop State Park. Based upon some whopper plopped enhancements I have seen, I replaced the front hook with a #2 red Mustad, and the back hook with a #1 Mustad Ultrapoint wide gap. Also replaced the split rings and added one to the front with a barrel swivel. Looking forward to some topwater action!
