Use the right Ridgeback jig for the fish you are targeting, but the larger, heavier sizes are better suited for offshore, and lighter ones for inshore.
Check out all of the sizes from 1.5 to 11 oz
The unique shape and original design of the RIDGEBACK JIG creates an exciting new jig action. It can be worked as a slow pitch jig with a flick of the rod tip or worked fast as a high-speed jig. The unique angled head design creates an erratic sideways darting movement at the top of each lift of the rod. When used slow it will flutter before starting to sink quickly, making it ideal for slow pitch jigging applications. Work it fast or slow and it will shoot off to the side giving an erratic action both pelagic and bottom feeding fish cannot resist.

This is a great versatile SPJ and has great action. I use it as a flutter and fast retrieve and drop jig. Nomad puts a lot of time and development into their products and it shows. Great quality too!

Very nice
Excelente señuelo, muy bien balanceado y se siente muy resistente
Needed a smaller wake to throw on my MH rod, and this one fit the bill perfectly. It has great action, can be snapped so it has a walk when you're close to cover, and the prop actually turns and displaces the water behind it. The bait looks great as well. I picked up the "Real Flash Gill" and have already caught a few quality fish on it. One thing I recommend is upgrading the front treble to a slightly bigger one for better hookups! Overall, I highly recommend this bait for pond hopping. Nothing beats a topwater eat!
I use it everywhere, I mostly fish Rivers and Streams in Indiana and it works every time from dinks to 4lbs plus. The Smallies love it, find the color that works for the water conditions 3/8oz is perfect to drift down the current or bounce around lay downs. I do a simple conversation and trim the small tail tip rutter and under the tail. That shortens the swim action and gets the fish attention for an action packed day. The bite ratio is very impressive, I have turned my buddy on to the Gobius and it works. We hit a local stream and pulled out 183 bass walking from sunrise to sunset and tore up 15 Gobius.
