In developing this innovative design, the designers at Rapala strove to create lure with the perfect balance of metal, plastic, and Rapala know-how and ingenuity, and they absolutely nailed it.
This extremely versatile bait produces instantaneous vibration both when you cast and retrieve the lure or jig it vertically. The Rap-V's hybrid blade bait/lipless crankbait design also means it can be worked in variable depths with a wide range of techniques; cast out, make contact with bottom, lift and let fall in a yo-yo style retrieve. Or, for vertical presentation, drop to bottom and twitch for a jigging action.
You can also vary how you fish the Rap-V using its 2 line tie positions; use the front line tie for a slower fall swimming action and rear tie for a faster fall, head down presentation.
