The Rapala Jigging Shad Rap 03 is a 1 1/2 inch, 3/16 ounce shad profile ice jig. The Jigging Shad Rap® has more pronounced movement, with a lethargic circle down action on the fall. Lifting your rod in a sharp "snapping" motion will cause the bait to circle faster. A quick "vibrating" motion can also be used at fixed depths to prompt strikes from tight lipped fish. A deadly weapon under the hard water, or fishing open water for suspended fish, also the right choice for working deep, submerged structure. Available in 14 colors, including natural, glow, and UV colorways.

I have been using Rapala baits since 1962 (I was seven years old). I trust Rapala baits because they work their quality is always top notch. I have used their jigging raps in deep water and under slip bobber rigs. Their 3/16 oz is perfect for this. I always have several in my tackle box.
