Features:

  • The Lew's Tournament Pro LFS Speed Spool Baitcasting Reel delivers true tournament-grade performance with its "Lighter, Faster, Stronger" construction.
  • Uses Lew's new P2 Bearings and solid brass, CNC machined Speed Gears that lend a precise alignment and outstanding stability.
  • Externally adjustable 6-pin 27 position QuietCast Adjustable Centrifugal Braking system (ACB).
  • Rugged carbon fiber star drag system that generates up to 20 lbs of drag power.
  • Combat-style thumb bar and grips for increased traction.

"Lighter, Faster, Stronger" is the Lew's Tournament Pro LFS Speed Spool Baitcasting Reel's mantra. Constructed using a one-piece aluminum frame with lightweight carbon side plates, it uses the new P2 Bearings and solid brass, CNC machined Speed Gears. It has become lightweight by shaving off unnecessary weight, thanks to the double-anodized aluminum spool and a carbon fiber handle; however, it retained its bigtime performance with a rugged carbon fiber drag system that provides 20 lbs of max drag.

It is fitted with a titanium coated zirconium line guide, an externally adjustable, 27-position QuietCast Adjustable Centrifugal Breaking (ACB) breaking system, and combat style grips for increased traction.

Good reel, but...

The Tournament Pro is a nice reel. But, unfortunately for some odd reason, they are not available with the 8.3:1 gearing in left hand retrieve. Why not?

Love it

This is by far my favorite reel for fishing light baits on a bait caster (less than 1/2). Great for tx rig, shaky head, and finesse jigs. Not saying it won't handle 1/2 ounce+, I just don't fish heavy weights until summer. I was a long time Shimano Curado user and I have converted. I find myself picking up this reel time and time again instead of my DC.

AWESOME reel!

This reel is built extremely well and with both tournament angler and weekend angler in mind! Very responsive and can handle big fish. casting this reel is real smooth. I am impressed with this reel and with a price point that won't break the bank. Give this one a try!!

Smooth and Solid

Nothing bad to speak of, quiet casting and cranking, smoooth and solid feel. Haven't caught a bass big enough yet to test the drag. LOL. But has a smooth feeling setting it up!
