This will be a little different review from the normal reviews which are primarily bass fisherman. I'm a fly fisherman almost exclusively for trout and steelhead. Over the past few years it has been more and more difficult for me to take part in the fishing that I love. I'm almost 80 years old and find it more difficult to wade. One of my favorite rivers is fly fishing and artificial bait only. There are many spots on this river that are extremely dangerous to wade and many of them I can't reach fully with a fly rod. Over the past few years I've learned how to use a spinning rod and float system for steelhead. I feel much safer and only have to do a minimum of wading. There are spots I my favorite trout river that would be ideal for a spinning rod. There is also an abundance of crawdads on this river. I therefore feel this bait, which closely resembles the crawdads on this river, is an ideal way of continuing to fish a river I love and have a reasonable expectation of success.

This bait is one of the best sm bass and lgm bass I have ever used when fish are deep. Works great with a light jig head. Only wish I could find at more retail stores.

The bait will catch you big bass, but the material won’t last but one maybe two catches. The material is really soft and it seems break apart easier than many other soft plastics on the market like missile baits.
