This is one of if not the best frog I have ever used. It walks so easy and you can pop it as well. I caught a few really nice bass one morning on this frog. My only concern is the tail came off after my 5th bass. It still works just fine without it, but it does miss some of that action being gone. So I ordered more because they get bit.

I started fishing the bluegill Gavacho “frog” last summer in the heavy grass mats and Lilly pad fields here on Guntersville Lake where massive congregations of brim take cover in the shade the plants provide. The bass feed heavily on the brim all summer long and you need a “frog” pattern that can not only create a realistic disturbance in this heavy cover to draw blowups, but also remain weedless enough to navigate the cover without fowling AND allow you to have decent hookup ratios. The Gavacho frog is by far the best softbody frog to achieve all of this!!! Amazing draw, weedless (even in heavy grass mats and lillypad stems) and great hookup ratios!!!

I fish mine on 50-65 pound braid and fish holes in the cover, weed lines and any sort of indentation in or point in the cover. Some days the fish want it fished s-l-o-w!! Some days they want hard “pops” with water spraying out in front of the frog. Som days they want it “walked”… Gavacho does it all!

Super strong, razor sharp hooks, great looking and realistic finish and very durable, yet soft body.

It literally has become my number one top water lure here on Guntersville. I fish a lot of club tournaments and most of the guys I fish with are all the time trying to figure out what frog I’m throwing in our tournaments. When they ask I show them. Most of my fellow club members are throwing Gavacho’s now!

Wow, this is a great frog! You can walk the dog with ease, pop it & fish in heavy cover! Without a doubt the best frog I have ever used & has the best hook up as well!!!
