Please, keep the weed guards. They can easily be clpiied off if someone doesn’t like. They cut my snags way down!!

The Z-Man Micro TRD Micro Finesse Bait has become my "go to" bait year round. They work great in the dead of winter but also in the Fall and Spring. I pair them up exclusivelly with a matching-color TRD. The only thing I don't like is quality of the hook. The 1/0 hook is effective in catching fish, but it can easily break off sometimnes after a couple of uses. Overall is this bait is both a LM and SM magnet.

I love love love these jigs. I rig them with a Zman Baby Goat and use them as a micro swim jig. They are phenomenal; even the the bass think so. The action is fantastic; they are very durable and the color selection is first rate. I have caught a ton of bass on these so far (even when nothing else worked). I now have a BFS setup dedicated to throwing these micro “swim” jigs. Oh; the price is great as well. The only modification I make is that I remove the weed guards (I don’t really have a use for them).

If you fish in the dead of winter this little jig should be your go to. I've caught hundreds of largemouths in water as cold as 33 deg. Largest was 10-2. Use the Netbait tiny Paca Chunk trailer, ypu will not find a more perfect trailer. I use light spinning gear with 10lb. braid to 8 lb. fluoro leader. This gives you great sensitivity and ability to make long casts. I fish 5 days a week thru winter and have this tiny jig combo on 6 rods as you will lose some fishing wood cover as I do.
