Great alternative for fishing hollow body frogs.

I've been fishing it in the same heavy cover I fish hollow body frogs. Only fished it a few times and have caught multiple bass on it. It's awesome to twich in place. After you pop it and keep a little slack it will walk like a Zara Spook. Only drawback is finding the right hook. I've finally decided to just fish it on a 4/0 super line heavy duty EWG. Hope this helps.

Best you can get!

These are always a staple in my tackle bag. In south Florida the grass can make it tough to throw a traditional popper. especially from the bank. These are the solution! I fish them on 30 lb braid and use a 5/0 hook and they still float. when the treble hooks aren't an option, tie these on and get em! A tip, when they run up the line, it's usually easier to cut and retie. The plastic they use sometimes makes it difficult to thread the hook back through.

Great Baits

The Pop Shadz are great. I've been just killin' the bass with them. Not quite as buoyant as advertised, but still extremely effective. Easy to walk, or pop, or both. I use a combo of popping, walking, and pauses. I have always been a big frog fisher, but ever since trying these I have pretty much retired my frogs. I've been using the watermelon/chartreuse, bad shad, and ghost shad. All have caught fish. And, because of the ElaZtech material each bait is good for numerous catches, strikes, and just dragging through the weeds type of abuse. The stuff is tough.

Great Top water bait!

Got these in Shad color, fish around weeds and pads rigged with an offset EWG hook. Gotta watch, a lot of times the strike will come when you pop it and the bait is just below the water, and the fish grabs it. Very effective bait around vegetation, and skips real easy, even I can do it!

Pop Shadz works

Wife and I hit the Delaware River early in the morning and tried the pop shadz for the first time rigged with a #6 treble hook and they worked great. Took a little time to learn when to set the hook but my wife managed her largest smallie of the year, a beautiful 18” which gave her quite the fight. All on the pop shadz.
