50 plus years ago I had a silver and blue Storm Thinfin, and it was my go to lure for Midwest fishing. While fishing one day with my Dad he borrowed it and caught a nice Northern Pike on it. The next time we went out he snagged a big carp in the back and got it close to shore when all of a sudden, snap and the carp along with my favorite lure went off into the Pecatonica River. Ever since that day I have been looking for that lure, not in the river, but in stores and online. I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted it at Discount Tackle. Thank you for giving my back my childhood and a chance at getting my grandson's excited to join me while searching for that elusive big catch.

We have had Great success with this lure but then a fish took it, so we reordered another one. Hoping for success again this weekend.

Had good luck on my last fishing trip with the storm thin fin in metallic blue and silver shad. While landing a nice rainbow my line broke causing me to lose my trolling gear, the lure and the fish. I quickly replaced the crankbait from discount tackle. Good price and fast shipping. I have now switched to braided line. Hopefully, no more lost gear!
