The Daiwa Saltiga Boat Braided Line is designed for deep drop fishing with Dendoh Style power assist reels. Eight woven braids make it super-strong, yet one of the finest diameter braids available, less affected by currents for a straighter, more accurate drop. Its smooth surface means less friction and noise from guides on the retrieve. Color changes every ten meters, with five and one meter indicators, shows depth and line movement. Coded for quick programming into Dendoh reel memory for maximum readout accuracy. Color changes every 10 meters.

All I have come to expect

I have come to equate Daiwa with excellence and this line meets this expectation. It is soft, supple, with good knot strength and abrasion resistance. It is the best.

Almost a perfect line

If not for the bleeding colors when it gets wet and its relatively higher price, this product would have been a total knockout. Other than that, it is really soft and supple, yet strong and durable for large fish and can even pull the boat mid-action. Its really great for live bait casting.

Can't say enough praise for this

It's a strong and smooth line, can't really ask for anything else. Use it for bottom fishing as well as jigging and everything's going well so far. I've been using it for almost a year now for some heavy offshore stff and haven't had any problems with breaking off at all.
