Daiwa lure catcher is a rip off

The daiwa lure catcher is unusable. The hooks that the fishing line goes through are far to small. There is no way for the lure catcher to slide over any swivel, snap or wire leader. Unless you tie direct to a lure it simply will not work. If one looks at any of the other lure retrievers you will clearly see large hoops for the catcher to slide down the fishing line as well as avoiding any tackle one may have tied on before the lure. This should damn well be in the description of the lure catcher so no one else gets robbed. Everything thing else in my order was as described on discount tackle web site.

Quality product to save those damn vision 110’s

So I recently lost two in my local river was out this very morning got snagged and best believe I pulled this bad boy out and got my jerkbait back along with a crank bait it was snagged on. This retriever has already paid itself and some back thanks again guys for the fast delivery.

Finally, Poseidon gives back his stolen treasures!

Great product from a great company (Daiwa) for whom been loyal for many years, But hey, if you're listening how about magnetizing the weight so might be able to pull up some other lost treasures from those who don't have this tool? All in all, joking aside, if you do a lot of stationary fishing this is a great invention. In rivers I used to use a half gallon milk and just a carabiner, but who wants to carry that around? Lure Catcher is nice & compact & you look less like a backwoods moonshiner. Good for yak fishing too.

Insurance for your tackle investment

You can see immediately that this is a well thought out lure retriever. It’s made of quality components and stores in a small organized manner so that it’s not a headache and it’s ready to go when you need it. You absolutely need this if you have any kind of substantial investment in your fishing tackle. Definitely recommend this over other items
