Nice small pond or creek mini chatterbait. I’ve caught a lot of fish using this series.

I think I just made Z-Man some money...

Went fishing with a buddy to a small local lake yesterday. It is predominantly a largemouth and panfish lake and the water is still cold, so the action was slow. There were three other guys there and no one was getting any action. My buddy was hanging worms and Gulp minnows from a bobber, the other three were throwing lures. I have recently purchased both the Z-Man Flashback and Micro, based on stellar reviews on Youtube. I decided to try the Micro with a Bobby Garland Slab Hunt'r minnow and started getting bites. I eventually switched to a Shad FryZ and continued getting bites. My buddy said,"Hey, you got another of those?" I had him try the Flashback and he started hooking up. Eventually, the three other guys wandered over (they were all individuals, not a group) and asked what we were using. Among the three, they had only gotten three bites - one guy had two bites, another had one and the third had been skunked. They all plan on getting some Z-Man chatter baits ASAP.

They work for me

I generally fish the concrete lined irrigation canals in our area. Recent rains caused the water in these canals to turn into a kind of chocolate milk.

This made it nearly impossible to catch anything with any of my other baits. Under these conditions, the micro chatter baits were the ticket to catching fish again.

I've even caught several catfish with these chatter baits. I never used to know that catfish would bite an artificial lure. I wish I could upload my photos as proof but I guess this online review page doesn't allow for that.
