I love these VMC jig heads. I've caught a ton of stipers with them. I mostly use the 3/8th ounce version. The hook is fantastic and I almost never miss a hook up when I get a bite. The only thing is that the paint chips off and the eyes fall out. I'm not sure how much this actually matters when it comes to catching fish but it doesn't look so good to the fisherman.

It is great when you use a Shad boxer jighead with a MinnowZ avacado

I utilize the 1 ounce in either chartreuse or white while fishing live pinfish. The additional weight and larger bait gets the bait past the smaller out of season red snapper. Red snapper are out of season 362 days a year…These jigs tend to hold the pin ship in an upright position so it looks like it’s feeding off of the bottom….Lighter leader seems to work best to increase bite. Order arrived on time and correct…..
