The Shimano Intenza Casting is a new intermediate-level casting rod from Shimano designed to provide the ideal balance of quality and affordability for anglers who want something more refined than an entry level rod, but aren't looking to break the bank. Although these rods were designed from the ground up with targeting bass in mind, the Intenza series features a wide range of lengths, powers, and actions for any technique you're looking for and a wide range of freshwater and light inshore saltwater species, such as pike, muskie, redfish, striper, and seatrout. From finesse hair jigs up North, to punching mats down South and all else in between - the Intenza has you covered!
Additional features include grip surface technology, G Alpha™ grips, 30-Ton graphite construction, SeaGuide aluminum oxide guides, and a Shimano custom reel seat and foregrip for ultimate grip and comfort.
