The reel features a super shallow spool that can hold up to 40 yards of 20-pound-test fluorocarbon line, resulting in faster spool start-up and reduced deep spool backlashes. One notable innovation is the Knot Slot, which creates a recess for the spool knot, ensuring smooth and even line lay.

The externally adjustable QuietCast® ACB system is equipped with a dedicated "Skipping Zone," enabling anglers to maximize their casting distance and minimize backlash when skipping a bait under docks.
