When it comes to bass fishing, my favorite spot is a small 3-acre pond right across the street from my house. Over the years, I’ve tried all kinds of soft plastics—different colors, shapes, and sizes—but nothing works quite like the Roboworm in Bold Bluegill.

Chartreuse pepper could be a little brighter
Chartreuse pepper should be a little brighter. I like fishing them late evenings.
I had one in the box with Yozuri, Shimano and Daiwa equivalent lures. As soon as my guide saw this Rapala he grabbed it and started using it. He caught many cabrilla in the rocks, and large yellowtail in open water. At the end of the trip I asked him why he chose that one and he stated "because it works!"
It sure did, I was happy to see him filling our boat with nice quality fish. So I ordered 2 more bunker color, and 2 other colors for my next trip. Discount Tackle had best prices and fast processing and delivery.
This line seems to be a great middle-of-the-road value. There are certainly less expensive and significantly more expensive lines, but for the cost, this one casts really well, the line strength seems correct, knots hold correctly, and the color does not come off. Like all parts of a good fishing system, if selected to be in balance with the rod, reel, and lure weight, this product performs perfectly.
I have bought several different kinds of crankbaits but I have caught more and mostly bigger fish on these little John’s than any other. They are great !!
