The Daiwa Saltiga SK Jig is a saltwater slow jigging lure with a Japanese design. On the fall this lure exhibits a unique spin and flutter action that entices predatory gamefish to react and attack. Once the Saltiga SK Jig has reached the bottom or a targeted depth, simply wind the reel and let it fall back down. The unique swimming action of the Saltiga SK Jig allows the jig to kick and slap throughout the water column.

These are one of the "go to" lures for the San Diego blue fin fishery. Stock hooks hold up fine, where most other jigs you have to change out the stock hooks. Good action on these jigs, and they sink fast.
The blades on these baits start up immediately and the 1/4 oz size holds steady with the 2.5 slim swimmers.
These are pricy even on sale at $6.39 but the quality of the skirt and blade kick the shit out of the micro 1/8 chatter baits. I fish a tatula light bfs rod with 10lb braid to a 8lb copolymer leader. I was able to smack 10 bass over two trips, small mouth and large. As well as a 2lb flat head. These are great for smaller fish in pressured water. New go to bait, could never understand the chatter bait hype with the larger sizes.
my second TFO rod, replacing my first one due to a break from my boat cleat. I typically buy quality brand rods that are in a mid-price point. This rod fits in as it has good action, good balance and is comfortable. I would buy another.
