ALL DAY. EVERY DAY.
ALL DAY. EVERY DAY.
Sometimes products can fall into a cycle of monotony, remaining virtually unchanged for years. Why fix something that’s not broken? At Eagle Claw Fishing Tackle Co., that mentality doesn't exist. They developed a fishing hook that is so far superior to anything else they had to create a whole new brand for it: Trokar.
At Eagle Claw's Trokar division their engineers designed a new definition of sharpness, a hook with a geometric triangular point to penetrate faster and easier. They honed all three edges to surgical sharpness, resulting in a hook that penetrates twice as fast and dramatically improves strike-to-hook-up ratios. Once the sharpness was dialed in, Eagle Claw's Trokar Team called in our team of pro-fisherman to put these hooks to the test. With their input they fined tuned and made the Trokar hook even more superior. Upgraded and leveled up using higher carbon, cold forged steel and a bolstered shank design for added strength during aggressive hook-sets. Then they put the steel through a unique heat treating process that adds impact resistance and just the right amount of flex to resist breaking when fighting to get your fish in the boat. The result: The most extraordinary fishhook ever made with the deadliest Trokar point.

View full detailsThe Madscad AT 190 is a perfect lure to add to an offshore trolling spread. I like to run two different colors off of each long outrigger. Offshore trolling has become a real science - between teasers and dredges, tag lines, etc., this lure runs true and deep. Most importantly, it out produces other hard baits 2 to 1.
I have purchased 4 total Shimano reel covers to protect my investments. I would like to tell you that they do a very good job in doing so. Keeps from scratching reels being taken out and put back in my rod lockers on the boat. Very good quality and I would highly recommend them.
They're great for striped bass and crappies on the Mississippi
