The Berkley Choppo is a plopper-style topwater lure designed for bass and other surface feeding sportfish. Whether you are a weekend warrior or a seasoned pro, this easy to use top water lure is designed to deliver explosive top water action. Chunk and wind the Berkley® Choppo around cover and in open water for a serious waking action. The Choppo's durable tail propeller won't melt in your tackle box and the enhanced surface area provides more sound and spray. The precision balance of the bait ensures that it's action begins immediately and it swims straight at a variety of speeds.
All sizes can be cast and retrieved around all types of shallow cover, the 75 (3 inch) & 90 (3 2/7 inch) is best suited for calmer conditions, while the 120 (4 1/2 inch) can be used in calm to choppy conditions. The newer 105 (4 1/8 inch) sizes is good a halfway point between the two, good for both calm conditions when fish are into larger forage and choppier water when you want something with a smaller profile than the 120 size
Pre-rigged with Fusion19 treble hooks and available in 10 mostly baitfish-imitating colors.

The “perfect ghost” color in the chopper 90 works great for bass!
I didnt know how well it would work for bass fishing because of the colors. But i gave it a few tries around a fallen tree and some lilly pads and i caught quite a few decent sized bass. Would recommend for any bass fishing around 3-8 ft of water.

Works good and the different sizes are better than others that make similar. Need a chartreuse option though.

Choppo Leads the Way Into Fall

I've always known about this bait, but after a buddy recommended it for Smallmouth, I decided to pick one up and give it a try. In just one week, it has already produced two trophy Smallmouth and has quickly become one of my favorite topwater walking baits. The large profile, loud knock, and awesome color selection really fire up the big ones. My second fish missed it on the first strike, circled back, and absolutely smoked it. This bait is a blast to fish—it's easy to work, casts a mile, and, most importantly, catches big fish. If you're in the market for a topwater walking bait, look no further. I also recommend upgrading the treble hooks for a little extra insurance when those giants eat.
Like the title says, this is a great lure when the peas are hiding deep. Just make this little guy dance like your uncle at a wedding dance floor and they will chomp on it.
I purchased 3 of these fantastic Frog lures. These are the most realistic looking frogs of any that I have seen. Items came in ahead of schedule and in a few more hours I hope to be seeing them get pounded!
