This jig has got it all. High-quality components, great looks, and killer action. Picked up the "Classic Brown" color (5/16oz), and paired it up with a Deps "MS Craw" in Scuppernong. Due to the price point, I was a little skeptical about pitching it into thick cover at first... But after a few successful and snag-free retrieves, my confidence grew and that's all I proceeded to use it for. Pitched it into wood, hopped it over stretches of rocky bottom, and even fished it through grass with no problems. The positioning of the line tie and round jighead design are excellent. The soft brush weed guard also does its job. It's soft enough for the hook to easily pierce through during a hookset, but at the same does a great job at deflecting various types of cover. The wire keeper on the shank of the hook is also a nice touch, that way your trailer doesn't go flying in the opposite direction during a fight. I will be adding some more of these to my tackle box. I know it will be an absolute weapon come springtime! You can tell this jig was carefully designed, not just thrown together. Would recommend it, especially if you love throwing jigs like I do.
