Power Pro Spectra Moss Green Braided Line is braided fishing line made from Spectra. Spectra is the registered trademark of Honeywell International for a special formulation of the same space-age material that bullet-proof vests and other tough protective gear is made from. Line made from Spectra is extremely strong and thin. Designed to feel smooth to the touch, which means this line won't cut your guides, and with less friction it will cast farther. It will also enhance knot performance and will lay better on the spool, which will also help increase casting distance. The near zero stretch of Spectra lines means you will have the ultimate in sensitivity so every twitch will be transmitted to your hand.

You can’t beat this braid!

I’ve used 8#, 10#, 20#, 30#, and 40#. I’ve experienced excellent results. No fraying. The line holds its color. It’s strong as can be. I use it as backing on all of my reels (baitcasting and spinning). I usually use a Palomar knot or tie on a fluoro leader with an FG knot, and it’s perfect!

Best Braid Money Can Buy!

Honestly I have never used a better braid. I’ve tried them all and Power Pro cannot he beat, and it’s not even the most expensive. Zero memory, super smooth, extremely abrasion resistant. I just wish they made it in a light blue color for clear water. For that I go to Daiwa J Braid.
Moss Green with a Flouro leader can’t be beat in almost every situation.
I replace my line once a year, and that’s fishing over 200 days per year and never had a failure. I even spool the used end onto another reel exposing the fresh end for another season. Absolutely fantastic line.
