Sunline Assasin FC Fluorocarbon is a 100% fluorocarbon line featuring Sunline's proprietary P-ion Technology. Assassin is the first product launched in the US featuring P-ion Technology. P-ion processing improves slickness, abrasion resistance and longevity of your line by chemically altering the line's surface to allow resin processing to bond at a molecular level. This processing increases line performance and allows the line to retain key characteristics longer and it's almost completely invisible in the water!

I have tried many fluorocarbon lines. I have heard great things on Sunline so I tried Assassin FC 12lb (660 yard spool ).
I am not sure why but I have had the line break on my last two trips out. The line seems a little brittle. Everybody can have a bad product every know and then I guess, nobody can be perfect except God ! I called Discount Tackle and they told me after I used the product I could not return it. That seems a little crazy to me, how would you know if you liked the product or disliked the product without trying it. I have ordered a lot from DTW and will continue to do so, but I am not happy with this line.☹️

Great for bait casters

I use a full spool on my bait casters and there is really minimum memory. Great for deep cranks and lures that provide resistance - I think that helps minimize the memory. I tired this with a punch bait and didn't have the same success for the memory. Very strong line - highly recommend.

Great Flourocarbon

This is a great line option whether you're looking for a good quality fluorocarbon for flippin' or for leader material that won't break the bank. It's got solid abrasion resistance and a pretty thin diameter compared to most other fluorocarbons of the same price point. I've found the line to have great overall strength. I highly recommend the Sunline Assassin for those who are on a limited budget and are unable to afford Sunline Shooter. A solid option for anglers at any level of fishing.
