P-Line Halo Fluorocarbon introduces the union of unmatched proprietary extrusion technology, coupled with the finest raw materials available: the first Co-Fluoride introduced into the United States. In a tireless effort of research and development, P-Line has engineered the next generation of fluorocarbon fishing line by introducing HALO Co-Fluoride. Different fluorocarbon crystals have different characteristics.    With HALO, P-Line has blended different types of pure fluorocarbon crystals, giving anglers the best combination of strength, sensitivity, and castability in the best all-purpose fluorocarbon line available.

 

Because P-Line Halo is 100% pure fluorocarbon it has a low refractive index making it invisible underwater. The specific gravity is much higher than traditional fishing lines, giving the line a much faster sink rate. Halo comes in a new translucent low visibility Mist Green color, optimum for lakes, rivers, and inshore saltwater applications.

Halo

This line has the least memory of any of the fluorocarbon lines I’ve tried. I applied some Line Aid and it is almost as supple as a monofilament. I would definitely recommend purchasing this line.

My favorite line

I have been using Halo since it came out. Halo is tough, abrasion resistance, and strong. It does have more memory than most fluorocarbons but if you will add some KVD line and lure conditioner as you're spooling up it helps significantly. Also, spray your reels down the night before and in the morning before you cast and it helps with memory during the day. I know that sounds like a lot to do but it's worth it for how well this line performs. I've caught 5lbers on 8lb with a finesse jig flipped into cover and had no problem getting fish out of heavy cover with 8lb line.

I am very happy with P-Line Halo. I find the line easy to cast with very little memory.

Halo Line, has been my line of choice. It's strong and has the power to land the biggest of fish! Tournaments are the main reason for this line! I can cast into anything and haul out the big ones with no worries. Great for reaction baits, Texas rigs. Love the light lines for drop shots. Worth the money!!!

Excellent fly fishing tippet material at reasonable price.

This fluoro in 4# test is an excellent alternative to 4 or 5x tippet material for nymphing, streamer or other fly fishing uses. It's diameter is c. .007 inches.
It's easy to knot (I use the Davy knot, double surgeons, and perfection loop). I seldom if ever lose fish because of a bad knot.
It's abrasion resistant, flexible, has low stretch, and invisible to trout. I've used down to size #20 flies on this tippet.
I'm primarily a euro-style nympher for trout in streams and rivers. But this product is a good terminal tippet when high sticking, indicator nymphing, dry dropper, wet or dry fly fishing, I have a heavier test spool I use for steelhead and salmon fishing. I highly recommend PLine Halo to anyone looking for a low cost alternative to flyfishing tippet.
