These baits are very effective on all types of bass in our local lakes, and also can be used trolling for walleye. I recommend getting a variety of colors, so you can match up with water color & turbidity.
The Nessie 7 works as described and designed. Pause the bait, then two quick reel handle turns and pause again works best for me. 12lb XL mono gives the bait the best action for me and keeps the bait higher in the water column during slow retrieves and long pauses.

These are my new favourite bass lure. They have been smashing this DieZel minnow fished over lily pads and in the weeds. Very durable also. Rarely breaks or rips.
these clips allows u to change baits multiple times in less time than it takes to re-tie one lure. It also adds life to the lure as it is pulled thru the water.
