The Daiwa Tatula 150 TWS is a midsize low-profile baitcasting reel designed with power fishing bass technique in mind. While the Tatula 100 TWS prides itself on its "palm-ability," light weight, and sensitivity, the big selling points for the Tatula 150 are its deep spool, rigid aluminum housing, and beefy reinforced brass gearing, all while still retaining a 100 size housing.
The deeper spool allows you to hold lots of heavy braid or monofilament fishing lines, while the reinforced brass gearing and rigid aluminum frame and sideplate ensure you have the strength and fortitude to battle with trophy predators. A custom 100mm swept handle can turn the barrel with greater ease, providing greater torque, and comfortable soft-touch knobs make long days on the water just a tad more bearable.
Altogether, these traits make the Tatula 150 TWS great for deep cranking, flipping/punching, bladed swim jigs, paddle tail swimbaits, frogs, and similar power-focused presentations.
