I wish I could give this more stars. My first cast a fish hit it and missed, my second cast I unfortunately bashed it against a rock near me and broke off the tail and lost the rear hook and tip of the bait but proceeded to still go on to catch 10 fish on the one hook before one prong started to bend. Needless to say, I ordered replacement hooks and another few Pins Minows in different colors. I can't wait to see what else I can catch!
I bought the 3/8 and the 3/16 and both look amazing. The 3/16 pairs up perfectly with a keitech fat swing 3.3. Because the hook size on the 3/8 is bigger it needs at least a 3.8 or 4.3 swimbait. The weedguard on the 3/16 is too stiff but that can be solved pulling out a 3-4 of the guards.
Another great Daiwa product! The reel itself is extremely lightweight, and the small profile allows you to comfortably palm it for all-day use without any fatigue. I have been using mine for Swim Jigs, Bladed Jigs, Crankbaits, and 3-5" Swimbaits with no issues. The Zillion casts a mile and is extremely smooth. Oh, it also features a clicking drag! I would highly recommend this reel if you are in the market for a great all-around use baitcaster, or if you want to upgrade your current reel to something a little nicer! You won't regret it. Thanks DT for carrying all the speeds in both LH & RH. 5/5!
