Excellent little bait for when the fish are focused on smaller bait or if the fish are pressured. The bait works good if you thin out the bottom skirt strands and use a 3" straight tailed trailer like a Yum minnow. The line tie ( Duo lock snap) is decent but make sure to check to see if the locking wires are bent almost all the way closed to keep it from opening up which is a common problem with a lot of chatterbaits. To help with the hook up ratio and to not straighten a hook out , use a medium action crankbait rod with fluorocarbon or monofilament. The black/blue and the Green pumpkin black baits have silver blades on them, the pictures on the site makes them look gold. If you are looking for a Gold blade the only ones that have it is the Chartreuse and Brown/Black. Over all a good bait where you can buy 2 of these for the price of one of the Mini Max which does have a hook keeper and a ungraded hook.

I have had good luck with the white chatter bait. Always use it with a paddle tail swim bait. When my leader broke and my lucky lure sank to the bottom of Norton pond up near Canada I had to reorder one.

It works great, I have always used these chatter baits with a combo of soft baits (crawler) and other types. Match with the opposite color and youd catch more than matching colorways.

The skirts installed on the 1/4 oz. are shown as single piece skirts; on the items I received they're just skirt legs banded onto the lure, not a single piece welded skirt like the larger models. Also, I'm not sure if it's just a QC issue, but both the blue shimmer and chartreuse that I received are incomplete. The 1/4 oz. lures are shown with trailers on the hooks (compared to the 3/8 oz. option which I also purchased). The majority of soft plastics I use are Z-Man, and I think they're great, but after this issue I probably won't be buying anything other than their plastics. Disappointing.
