First year trying this out and it did fairly well- caught stocked rainbows in three separate WV impoundments within a month. Seems to do better earlier in the year; likely because it gets down deeper than some standard trolling crankbaits to hit the thermocline. Hooks hold fish well. Purchased several new patterns. 1.5 and 2 inch in black gold produce.

Hot Crappie Lure
Although my buddies and I use it to troll for crappie, we have caught a bunch of white bass on it too. We use the one piece and jointed styles.
Ordered a few new 1.5’s in new colors they came out with. Look even better in person. Caught tons of fish on these baits through the years. Can’t wait to try the new colors out soon.
