Features:

  • The Blue Fox Classic Vibrax Bleeding Series is a series of small to medium-sized inline spinners with paint schemes designed to imitate dying baitfish.
  • Body emits fish-attracting sonic vibration as the free-turning brass gear rubs against the Vibrax bell.
  • Designed to run between 2 and 6 feet (depending on water current and lure weight).
  • Metal finish Vibrax bells batched with red blades to give the appearance of a dying baitfish.
  • Pre-equipped with an extremely sharp VMC Hook, blade sizes 3-6 also include a properly sized siwash hook.

The Blue Fox Classic Vibrax is a time-honored and time-tested inline spinner from the eminent trout, salmon, and steelhead lure maker, Blue Fox. The Classic Vibrax offers a proven combination of flash and low-frequency vibration that triggers savage strikes while virtually eliminating line twists. These Bleeding Series Vibrax feature combinations of Chrome Blue, Gold, and Silver finished Vibrax bells matched with red spinner blades to create the visual illusion of a dying baitfish moving through the water, just asking to become some lucky trout's snack. The Classic Vibrax is designed to run between 2 and 6 feet (depending on water current, type of line used, and lure weight).

Available in 6 blade size and weight combinations that range from a size 0 blade lure that weighs 7/64 ounce, up to a size 6 blade lure that weighs 5/8 ounce.

Smallmouth bass and Northern Pike love the blue fox lure. It seems the #3 is the favorite consensus size. We were in Ontario, Canada.

Bleeding Gold

I found this spinner several years ago and found it to work great on all species of trout. I introduced it two my Brother and several of my other fishing buddies, now I order them every year for everyone. Discount tackle has the best price I've gotten yet and delivery was accurate and at my door in three days.

Blue Fox Vibrax with a Red Blade

This Blue Fox Vibrax is great like the other Blue Fox Vibraxes for all the same reasons the Blue Fox is good. I'm personally not sure if the fish see the red blade as a "dying baitfish" like the marketing suggests, but if the color scheme works for you, it will still catch fish. I have this one in my spinner rotation and it produces.

Great lure for Salmon, Trout and Pike.

These are the real deal, "Blue Fox Vibrax" spinners. From the factory they are equipped with very sharp, robust treble hooks capable of handling large strong fish. All of the size 4 and larger came with the optional single hook conversion.
These are must have on clear slow to moderate flowing rivers for Salmon and Trout of all sizes. A size 4-6 does well to target larger trout >20 inches, smaller sizes work well for pan sized trout. Works great for shoreline surf casting too. Ive caught Salmonids from AK, to WA and OR, all across the Rockies, south to GA and Ive always caught on Blue Fox Vibrax spinners.
In fresh water they work great in open water for pike and occasionally produce a surprise (Bass, pan fish and even catfish). Discount tackles has a great variety in stock, prices are very competitive. For example: in my locality by waiting 2-3 days for shipping, I have greater variety, and I save, 30-45% over local retailers prices and their price points are often within a few cents +/- of factory direct from Rapala / Blue Fox.
My only caution. In salt water they are not very corrosion resistant. A simple spray down wipe down with fresh water after use deters rust and corrosion. As with all spinners, they don't perform well in debris, weeds moss etc.
