The Berkley Flicker Shad Shallow is a Shallow Diving Crankbait. It is the higher-riding version of the legendary casting and trolling bait. Features the same great side roll and flash anglers have come to expect from Flicker Shad. The size, profile, and action perfectly mimic a predator's favorite meal, and its top-line componentry gives you a bait tuned to run correctly right out of the package. The Flicker Shad Shallow Crankbait features maximum rattle-and-roll action for combing the flats, with a strike-triggering slow-rising habit on the slowdown and pause. Berkley tank tests every Flicker Shad so it is ready to perform right out of the box. Equipped with Fusion19 wide-gap treble hooks keep fish from coming loose on the way in. The realistic baitfish patterns on this lure are pure 🔥🔥🔥 on the high mountain reservoirs in the Colorado rockies. Rainbow, Brown, Brook and Lake trout couldn’t let this one swim by without taking a swipe at it. Very productive lure and hook up ratio is still great with the stock treble hooks.

Upon advice from daughter about this trolling lure in the black and silver color., I picked one up and went up to Michigan. Her lake is pretty clear and we went out trolling for whatever would hit it. We were successful in catching largemouth and northerners. This lure is a Winner.
The Spro Gouken Florocarbon is fantastic ! It is very soft and castable, with top of the industry abrasion resistance and excellent knot strength. In addition, it is very reasonably priced when compared to other JDM type Florocarbons on the market !
Matt Luna did an in depth test on popular Florocarbons testing, knot strength, diameter, abrasion resistance and overall cost.
