The Gary Yamamoto Senko is the original soft plastic bass fishing stickbait. When Gary Yamamoto designed the Senko in the early 90's he had no idea that he was changing the future of fishing. Now it seems that every company has a similar "do nothing" copy of the Yamamoto Senko, but none have figured out how to make one quite as effective as the original. There is a Gary Yamamoto Senko in the lineup for every possible application and for every angler, from the first-timer to the tour-level pro. Whether you fish it weightless, wacky-style, Texas-rigged, on a Carolina rig, or an a shakey head or flipping jig, this simple slab of plastic will revolutionize your game and increase your catches.

Undoubtedly for me is one of the best colors produced by Yamamoto. Add the natural action of a falling Senko either weightless or the smallest weight you can get by with and you’ve got yourself a fish catcher.

My favorite lure is the one that bass are biting, but no lure generates more bass than a Texas rig Senko. No Senko works remotely close to the Yamamoto Senko.

Caught the biggest bass I've ever caught. They seam to love these on the end of a Z-Man chatterbait lure. Lovr these I wont go fishing bass without one.
Used the 90# for building short leaders fresh water fly fishing for tarpon. Turned over big (3/0-5/0) flies really well. Was excellent for tying knots, which is an issue for me with heavy lines.
I'm learning so the 4 is just because I'm not sure it's doing what it's supposed too lol. It seems to hit 4' consistently. It does have a really erratic action. The color looks good in the water. Hooks seem super sharp- just waiting on a bass to find out!!
