First year trying this out and it did fairly well- caught stocked rainbows in three separate WV impoundments within a month. Seems to do better earlier in the year; likely because it gets down deeper than some standard trolling crankbaits to hit the thermocline. Hooks hold fish well. Purchased several new patterns. 1.5 and 2 inch in black gold produce.

Hot Crappie Lure
Although my buddies and I use it to troll for crappie, we have caught a bunch of white bass on it too. We use the one piece and jointed styles.
Smallmouth just can't resist them! These baits consistently catch fish year-round, so I always make sure I have a few packs ready to go at all times. The craziest part is that color doesn't seem to matter; get it in front of them. The only downside to them is that they are not durable, but the action is unbeatable. Highly recommend this bait to any angler that wants to put more fish in the boat!
I love my Spro topwater rat, it casts relatively smooth and very easy on retrieving with a lot of action , I would recommend it to any fishermen who want guaranteed success on a day of fishing.
