I've been looking for a reel to go with my 5'6" light rod I purchased recently and the Daiwa Regal LT 1000 size exceeded my expectations. It's good to handle and very lightweight, making for easy casting. Combine that with the quiet and smooth reeling and it's sure to be a part of my arsenal for a long time. I started using Kalin's triple threat Wally World a few years back. GREAT all around crappie, bluegill and bass lure when combined with a roadrunner type jig head. It is so far the best all around color for lake, river and ponds at various times of the year and water conditions. Unfortunately, I've not been able to find Wally World color in stores for the last 2 years and was about out. Then I found Discount Tackle through Amazon. SO happy now to be able to stock up. I sure hope they don't quit this color!
