I fish these a lot. I like green pumpkin with the green pumpkin Rage Swimmer as a trailer. I have caught a lot of bass with these. All sizes of fish will hit these. I caught a 6-1/4 lb largemouth, and a couple at 5+ and a ton of them in the 3 - 4 lb range. I have have even caught some bluegill on the larger side with these. You can see the smaller bait fish, and small bass following, and blasting it as you retrieve it. All of that commotion will bring in the bigger fish to slam it. The smaller size, and lighter weight make this bait great for ponds, shallower water, and keeping it just ticking off the tops of weeds. Larger heavier lures would require a lot more effort to accomplish that. The one drawback to this lure is the lack of a bait keeper. You do need some glue to hold your trailer in place.

Got a pair of these in white from my brother. I haven’t fished with chatterbaits before; and he saw that needed changing. These feel stout, with a strong gauge hook and shaft, tight connection through the jig head, no flex or wiggle; but what I like best is the heft of the skirt material. It’s not wispy thin and so doesn’t easily clump or stick together. The strands are “heavy” and when in the water show a wide pulsing action. I’ve already lost one into the trees (they cast nicely) and hooked into a few fish. So far the blade hasn’t taken any damage and hasn’t bent out of position. I’m liking these a lot and will add green pumpkin and blue/black to my arsenal. I haven’t fished them with trailers, yet.
