I own other brands of rod socks but this is now my favorite. It fits tight but not too tight. As another reviewer stated, the weave is tight enough that it doesn’t hang up on the line guides. As all of my casting rods are 7’ or greater, I needed the XL sock and nothing but standard length can be purchased locally. More purchases are in the future from Discount Tackle!

I have other rod gloves but none of them fit like the ones I ordered from Discount Tackle. I would highly recommend these casting rod gloves to protect your long rods. I will be buying additional gloves for my spinning rods. Happy hooking!!
