The Yo-Zuri Hydro Monster Shot is a lead-filled stick bait designed for long casting and versatility. Small sizes from the 3 1/8 inch 1 ounce all the way to the big 5 inch 2 1/8 ounce.
With the Hydro Monster Shot, you can jig, you can skip, you can cast and retrieve slow or fast, and even twitch.
Featuring a wide wobbling action as it sinks, it also has a sharp darting action when jerked. This is especially useful when you long-cast launch the Hydro Monster Shot and want to vary the retrieve.
Equipped with rugged saltwater-grade rings and hooks, as well as through-wire construction, finished with a lead filling, the Hydro Monster Shot is almost indestructible as it is versatile!
Thin profile with a shiny finish on 7 base paint jobs, you can mimic baits like sand eels, sardines, ballyhoo and spearing. 4 sizes to choose from!
The Yo-Zuri Hydro Monster Shot is the most versatile hard bait on the market. It can be fished from the surface to the bottom, and everywhere in between, in a 100+ ft of water. It's a heavy weighted lipless stick bait, that falls in a horizontal posture, with a side-to-side wobble that perfectly mirrors a dying baitfish. On a straight retrieve it has wide wobble action, when jigged or twitched it has a sharp darting action and when burned across the surface, it has a skipping action that resembles a fleeing bait. Through wire construction, a durable lead filled body and triple strength saltwater grade treble hooks, quality throughout. It comes in 7 color patterns and 4 sizes to cover everything from Spanish Mackerel and Bonita inshore, to Blackfin and Yellowfin Tuna offshore. The thin profile mirrors baits like Sand Eels, Sardines, Ballyhoo and Spearing, while giving you the weight to make long casts to spooky fish. There is nothing else like it on the market! 7 colors to choose from.

I bought this lure to be able to launch it out in the surf in Pensacola to catch Spanish Mackerel and it definitely doesn’t disappoint! I’ve caught Spanish, and many other species with this lure

Great for surf fishing
Very well made and casts a mile. I did replace the treble hooks with VMC inline single hooks. Definitely a good lure to have in the tackle box.

It do be casting long
Lives up to the long cast name, I bough these to use specifically for mackerel and small tunas chasing bait balls. I still prefer lipped baits but these cast almost twice as far.

The Flip KoGill put in work for me this Spring! I fish a lot of deep, clear water reservoirs that are full of Bluegill. I fished this bait on a light Texas Rig using a flipping style weight and a bead for knot protection. I didn't peg the weight because this bait excels on the fall! It has a nice spiral fall that activates the flappers for a subtle kicking motion that drives bass wild. The majority of my bites were on the fall, I would drag it through thick cover and let it fall to the bottom. Landed several fish in the three to five pound range! The only downside as with any Japanese plastic is durability. The bait tears pretty badly on an aggressive hookset but it's worth the bites it attracts in my opinion. I highly recommend them. Thanks Discount Tackle!
These are fish catching machines. If I can't get bit on other baits. I lock a rod in my hand with one of these tied on. They catch everything. If it swims they will bite it. My biggest LM this season was on a Easy shinner. I always have several packs in my boat.
