The 2026 Discount Tackle x Oregon TBF Big Bass Bash Recap!
Saturday, October 24th, 2026, brought 18 boats to beautiful Boardman, Oregon, for the 2026 Discount Tackle x Oregon TBF Big Bass Bash! Anglers hit the Columbia River that crisp fall morning in search of the two biggest bass they could bring to the scales.
Located along the Columbia River in Eastern Oregon, Boardman is home to some incredible bass fishing. This stretch of the Columbia is known for producing massive Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, making it the perfect place for a tournament where quality matters more than quantity!
Back-to-Back Champion: Darryl Burkhardt!
A huge congratulations to Darryl Burkhardt, who took home first place with an impressive 10.25 pounds on just two fish! That's over a 5-pound average per fish and, even more impressively, marks back-to-back Big Bass Bash victories for Darryl! Congratulations on another outstanding performance!
Big Fish Honors Go to Brennan Osborn!
Another big congratulations goes out to Discount Tackle Pro Staff member Brennan Osborn, who landed the biggest bass of the tournament, weighing in at an impressive 6.20 pounds! To make the moment even better, Brennan's tournament-winning big fish was also his personal best Smallmouth Bass, and he caught it while fishing alongside his dad, David Osborn. Talk about a memorable day on the water!
For those unfamiliar with the Big Bass Bash, Discount Tackle awards $100 per pound for the biggest fish of the tournament, rounded to the pound and paid out in the form of a Discount Tackle Gift Card to use on our website. That means Brennan walked away with a $600 Discount Tackle Gift Card!
