Great Lure, Cheap jighead

Love the chatterbait in numerous colors and primarily use the 1/8 oz size. Performs well and definitely does it's job. However, over the past 4 months, I have had 3 of the eye hooks completely detach from the jighead itself making the lure useless. I can understand this happening once or even twice over the course of time but to have it happen so frequently in a short period of time makes me wonder if Zeeman found a less expensive supplier somewhere?

Great action

I've been using the 1/8 oz. size on my ultralight spinning rig and have caught bluegill, crappie, and some really nice largemouth. I put a small paddle tail trailer on and get nice action with a slow retrieve.

I prefer finesse to brute force, so I like fishing light lures like these with light rods and lines: 4, 6, 10 and
12 lb test. I have 1/4 and 3/8 oz Jackhammer for heavy cover but usually choose the lightest I think I can get away with.

Worth buying

I bought these for crappie and found everything will hit it, large or small species.
