    They take the repeated pull of 15+ pound Chinook without any deformation. Strong!

    I use them as to replace split rings for all of my saltwater hardbaits! Was able to land (accidentally snagged) 35lb stingrays with 20lbs braided line without the trebles detaching/breaking off of the ring!

    The best split rings I've found

    Very strong and corrosion resistant. I've replaced the rings on all my lures with these.

    They also snap back after attaching to large hooks. Cheaper brands will stay open of they are opened too far.

    And as usual, lightning fast shipping from Discount Tackle. Even to me, being on the other side of the country.

    Owner Hyperwire #9 Split Rings

    I ordered a pack of Owner Hyperwire #9 Split Rings for an upcoming Bluefin trip on the Independence. I will use these on my knife jigs and flat falls for night fishing at specific depths. Using straight 100# braid to a short leader (5-6 feet) of 130# Flourocarbon for abrasion resistance and near invisibility in the water. Although at night they don't see the string but just in case ... At the end of the leader crimp a welded ring. Put the split rings on the top of the lure with 1-2 assist hooks. If you want to change jigs in the middle of a bite (heavier / lighter / color / glow / flutter / knife / etc. a good pair of snap ring pliers will quickly remove the jig on your line and replace it with the one you want to use.

    The price, communication and speed of delivery; not to mention the quality of the product was awesome! Highly recommend Discount Tackle.
