Great on rods with no hook keeper

I hooked this up on a Daiwa Rebellion Rod that had no hook keeper--great rod, but that was the one annoyance about it. There are also four in the pack, so like a previous review said, if you tear one, you have a backup. It's pretty inexpensive but works. There's also an Accu-Cull All-In-One that I've used successfully on a drop shot rod that I was going to try, but this Norman Hook Keeper seems to be just as good for just being a hook keeper.

Don't buy these

I tried out these hook keepers and 1 hook tore right away while I was stretching the keeper over the butt of my rod. A second one broke after I attached the lure to it and tightened up the line.

We had been using rubber bands, which didn't last more than a couple of outings. These hook keepers work great!

Hook Keeper

Have one rod without a hook keeper, and recently another wire hook keeper failed. I keep on of these in the tackle box jut for that kind of emergency, and they work GREAT. I highly suggest them for those situations.

And Discount Tackle was very speedy in getting these mailed out to me. THANKS FOLKS !!
