My new top water rod

Very well made. This rod seems to have above average feel. Casts are dead on and the bass don’t stand a chance as hook set is sure and fast.

Flipping/Pitching need

At 5’8”, I have difficulty using a long rod. This Dobyns rod was recommended to me; I paired it with a Daiwa Tatula sv tws 103. Feels great. As a retired RN, I recommend using a counterbalance on the rod butt to prevent “tennis elbow” due to tip heaviness.
