    A better crankbait speed clip option

    I fish a lot of crankbaits on just 2 rods and was constantly tying knots when changing baits. I thought there has to be a better way and I’d seen the latest version on social media, but I didn’t feel like I could trust the connection. So, I started with a competitors version (N****n) that you have to pinch an offset wire to open, which is a pain “in the you know what” with wet fingers. But the deal killer was having a nice smallmouth halfway undo the speed clip to the split ring. So I started searching for a better connection and found VMC’s version. Lots of fish later, zero issues and a solid/secure connection! Not to mention, it’s way easier to open and close with wet fingers. This speed clip is designed for crankbaits with no negative effects on the action of the lure. VMC’s Crankbait Snap has earned its place in my gear.
