Interesting bait for northerns

My grandson used one of these with a rage trailer and hammered the northerns. I'm trying them now and have had decent success.

Bladed jig fish head

Well made quality chrome blade and spinner blade, skirt is cut for lower spine relief. Caught many lake Fork bass on the black n blue with a LFT trailer, got the Grey white for summer shad. Worth every penny.

This lure is a beast

I’m a huge fan of spinners. It’s been known for decades and decades that spinners just work. And recently the chatter bait style lures have made quite an impact. Combining these two... is straight innovative. For bass, and any other predator freshwater fish... these things absolutely destroy. I’ve also caught quite a few catfish as well. I try to use black/blue baits for pretty much everything... because in muddy water, it’s the only colors fish can really see. Neon green or yellow basically disappear in muddy water (watch some YouTube videos of underwater testing). I added a small jig trailer and have had fantastic results with this bait. It’s great for bank fishing... or you can do slow retrieves and let the chatter/spinner draw their attention. I really like to let it sink to the bottom... then pull up my pole slowly, and reel in the slack, and repeat. Just keep mixing it up, to find out what style the fish in your area are looking for. These are very reasonably priced compared to the megabass versions... and are just as effective. And these come in 1/4 weights... which is my personal preference. By the time you add a trailer, there is plenty of weight to cast it a mile... and it’s not so heavy that the constant retrieves get exhausting. This lure gets all 5*s from me, I’d give 6*s if I could. If you want bass... try the 1/4 weight in black/blue and add a 3* crawfish or big trailer of the same color. You’ll swear by them after your first use.
