VMC has all kinds of hooks, and they are in my arsenal of fishing tackle.
I recommend them.

Solid Jig head-paint not so much
I love these VMC jig heads. I've caught a ton of stipers with them. I mostly use the 3/8th ounce version. The hook is fantastic and I almost never miss a hook up when I get a bite. The only thing is that the paint chips off and the eyes fall out. I'm not sure how much this actually matters when it comes to catching fish but it doesn't look so good to the fisherman.
I've been looking for a reel to go with my 5'6" light rod I purchased recently and the Daiwa Regal LT 1000 size exceeded my expectations. It's good to handle and very lightweight, making for easy casting. Combine that with the quiet and smooth reeling and it's sure to be a part of my arsenal for a long time. Arrived fast in perfect condition.
Picked up a pack of coppertreuse and green pumpkin Z-Man Finesse TRD to complement my larger senkos I like to fish wacky rigged. Complements the rest of my tackle box well to ensure I have bases covered no matter the conditions on the water.
I started using Kalin's triple threat Wally World a few years back. GREAT all around crappie, bluegill and bass lure when combined with a roadrunner type jig head. It is so far the best all around color for lake, river and ponds at various times of the year and water conditions. Unfortunately, I've not been able to find Wally World color in stores for the last 2 years and was about out. Then I found Discount Tackle through Amazon. SO happy now to be able to stock up. I sure hope they don't quit this color!
